Tahitian Pearl Museum

If you come to Tahiti, don’t forget to visit the Pearl Museum privately owned by Robert Wan, access is free and open from Monday to Saturday from 9:30am to 5:00pm it is closed on Sunday and holidays. They also offer private guided visit in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Japanese. It must be booked in advance, five days prior to your visit with a minimum of 2 persons.

It is located next to the Robert Wan “Tahiti Perles” jewelry store near the famous landmark “Paofai Protestant Church” on the waterfront “Boulevard Pomare” in Papeete.

You’ll learn about the Tahitian pearl history and legends, admire arts made from pearls and mother-of-pearls.
